Claudia Composta graduated in Economics and Business. She is a Customs Broker registered in the Italian Professional Register of the ‘Consiglio Nazionale degli Spedizionieri Doganali’ since 1998.
Claudia is also a consultant and trainer in customs matters.
She founded with her sister Francesca Composta, also a customs broker registered in the national Professional Register, the “Centro di Assistenza Doganale (CAD) Mantova”, which counts companies of significant importance among its clients.
After the diploma in Law, Francesca started a carrier as customs broker in Italy. She got also the customs broker (“customs representative”) licence and she is enrolled in the Professional Register of the “Consiglio Nazionale degli Spedizionieri Doganali”.
She has also a long and successful carrier as consultant and trainer in customs matters. In the last years, Francesca has acquired considerable experience in the field of excises, in particular, but not only, related to the online sale of alcoholic beverages. She acts as tax representative for excises for major groups in the alcoholic beverages industry.
With her sister Claudia Composta, she founded the “Centro di Assistenza Doganale (CAD) Mantova”, which counts companies of significant European and worldwide importance among its clients.
Mauro Giffoni has over 20 years of customs experience.
After his diploma in Business Administration, Mauro started his carrier at DG Taxud of the European Commission in the origin department, before to join various industrial companies and work as consultant in a Big4. He worked also as customs expert in an international company specialized in customs software’s.
Mauro has assisted many companies in different sectors to reduce the costs and risks of international trade, but also supported these companies in setting up effective management of their import / export transactions.
Mauro participated in the works for the adoption of the Union customs code at the European Commission, where he represented international associations of customs brokers. He writes articles in European specialist magazines, books on EU customs legislation and is a lecturer at the ICHEC School of Fiscal Sciences in Brussels and at the HEC Management School University of Liège.
